Shaped foil liners for FIBC and other bulk packaging

Star Group has launched an advanced processing line for the production of formed (bottle-shaped) liners for bulk containers. The new line can manufacture linings from PE film (sleeves) and aluminum foil laminates.

We ensure an increased level of quality in our products by implementing the BRC global standard for packaging and packaging materials.

The food and chemical industries place increasingly stringent requirements on the hygiene and barrier properties of bulk containers, including big bags (FIBCs), octagonal boxes and industrial grade cartons. Using ordinary liners made of plastic film is often inconvenient, especially with large bags, where a lot of excess film has to be packed around the spout and at the bottom. This can cause filling and emptying problems, prolong processing time, and leave some contents trapped in the folds of the liner. We offer a range of underlayment thicknesses and film/laminate specifications can be customized to suit the intended product. Liner dimensions always match the intended outer packaging.

XCGS has a range of PE film liners (available in various thicknesses and colours) and multilayer barrier films (with PA or EVOH layers, or PET/ALU/PET laminates).

Antistatic linings, including those with electrostatic bonding, are available for containers used in environments with high dust and/or gas concentrations.

XCGS provides relevant lining technical specifications according to the required container functions and barrier performance characteristics; specifications include dimensions and welding processes. Helps select the correct type of film/laminate for your application.

Depending on the application (filling or emptying), liners are available in various neck lengths and diameters.
